Code of Conduct
We expect all the participants, the sponsors, the partners and the GreHack staff to know and follow this Code of Conduct.
These rules apply to the GreHack conference, CTF, workshops venues and related social events.
If a participant does not respect this code of conduct, the GreHack staff may take any action they deem appropriate.
This includes a warning, expulsion from the event with no refund (if applicable), or reporting their behavior to the local law enforcement.
Expected behaviors
Expected behavior of attendees include, but is not limited to, the following:
Anti-harassment
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, or religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, photography or audio/video recording against reasonable consent, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
As this is a security challenge, we would like to note that the hacks created during the Capture the Flag contest are equally subject to the anti-harassment policy.
Sponsors and partners are also subject to the anti-harassment policy.
In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material.
Sponsor representatives (including volunteers) should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise, create a sexualized environment.
If you are being harassed or if you notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact any member of GreHack staff immediately.
GreHack staff will be willing to help participants contact any local security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.
We value your attendance.
Photography and Video
We have implemented 'No Photo' stickers. Taking pictures of large groups of people is forbidden, as is photography of anyone wearing a 'No Photo' sticker.
For individuals without such a sticker, there is no need to ask for explicit permission, but the photographer must still receive at least informal acknowledgment from the people appearing in the picture.
It is inappropriate to take pictures in situations where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy (such as in bathrooms or where participants are sleeping).
If any participant objects to having their picture taken, the photo must be deleted immediately. Unless stated otherwise, speakers agree to be photographed and filmed during their talks.
We plan to record the talks at the GreHack conference to make the videos publicly available. The camera will focus only on the speakers.
Since the camera will be clearly visible and identifiable, we expect those who do not wish to be filmed to avoid walking in front of the camera. Otherwise, this may be interpreted as informal acknowledgment.
